A Bowl of Chalk (1993), belum terlalu menunjukan daya soothing seorang Nicola Hitchcock. Mungkin ada pengecualian untuk sebuah lagu cover "Anyone Who Had A Heart".
When Robin Guthrie did a remix for Mandalay, did you work together, or did you have the materials sent to him? What's that like to work with him & what do you think about his works with Cocteau Twins / Violet Indiana.
I can't remember much about it ... he worked on it alone but i did sing a few extra vocal parts .... i absolutely adore Liz Frazer's vocals and think she is a huge talent.
If you are to cover a christmas song, what would it be?
I don't think i would!
"Running Down" & "Not seventeen" are my favorites, they're so soothing yet so sad. Is there any particular story behind the songs? Do you think that most of the great songs are sad songs?
I do think most of the great songs are sad songs i think. "Running Down" is about a feeling of helplessness i think ... and knowing that you always have to stand alone at the end of the day. "Not Seventeen" is about when a relationship has ended and you know it's for a good reason - that it's the right thing - but you are still longing for that person in spite of that ....
What is your opinion on musicblogs?
I think they are very difficult to write (!!) and i don't really like them - although they are probably useful. I much prefer the questions and answers on my site ... and prefer to be interviewed ...
What do you think of Indonesia?
I would absolutely love to come to indonesia one day - i adore the art that comes from west java
maybe you could recommend somewhere to visit or stay for me??
