Setelah itu You With Air mendapatkan gilirannya.
I read about you mentioning your roots in Australia & Indonesia, could you tell us more about it?
I grew up in the beautiful chaos of Jakarta but my family is originally from Yogyakarta. We moved to the east coast of Australia when I was a eleven and eventually met Michael or Isaac in New York.
Your page on Cargo & Blogspot is packed with ethnic/ natural images, is there any special connection with Young Magic?
When you are incased by the concrete and glass of New York, the mystery of the natural world is a delicious place for thought. I think we are all escape artists and find it easy to desire the time when we can taste the ocean or become surrounded by green skyscapers instead.
The track "Jam Karet" what's it about?
Jam Karet literally means "rubber time" in indonesian. It's a saying my mother would always use as an excuse for being late!
I enjoy the idea of time being a maleable thing, an element we could choose to adhere to or totally disregard.
How do you describe your upcoming album "Melt"?
--- just listen ----
Of all popular places in Indonesia where would want to go to have a gig?
Yogyakarta, at the very top of Mount Bromo and a secret beach in Sambolo*... everywhere and anywhere really!
It seems like the NY music scene has been bringing out some exciting new talents lately. Any bands you would recommend?
Gang Gang Dance, and Caveman.
